What kind of ceiling? Wallboard? What kind of light?


Interested to know where the wire for that light runs. Did they have to replace any of the subfloor? Unless the wire was totally out of position I think you can rule out a new nail causing a problem. Definitely want to check connections on the light itself and the switch just to rule out that a strain relief has let go or what have you.
