A lesson I learned a long time ago, NEVER do anything


involving real estate without it being on paper and signed. Yes it appears the guy rented the place but if the tenant wants to be crappy he can make it a very expensive and drawn out process. Keep in mind the current tenant is stealing his timber currently, that is possibly grand larceny depending on the timber and the prices he is getting so the current tenant does not actually care about the laws already.
