(chuckle) but yeah, it's time for your kid to try ten different things


not to be training for the Olympics... and I get that the kid likes it and is driving it, not you. Maybe one of those hard lessons of life, learning to be patient, or accept just having to try something else.

Just wonder if it's not growing pains? I remember my knees hurting when I was a kid, but then the next year they didn't.

And just to be politically incorrect, women aren't designed for sports like guys are, they do get a higher rate of knee injuries than guys do, despite the greater forces that guys put on them ('course that may not be true at that age)
