Early teen daughter got a text from boy in class, never had any real contact with him other than class and him asking about a couple of assignments. Quickly turned to "would you kiss me?" to "you make me hard" and "I liked seeing your tits last week". Right after that, texted "that may have been too far...". This is homeschool co-op, so very small group of kids, probably about 50 from K-12.

This is a 13yo kid saying this to my daughter. When I was 13yo, I would have puked trying to talk to a girl like that. Heck, the earliest I even knew personally someone getting to 2nd base was 10th grade. Now, it seems like you hit puberty and it’s “Hi, let’s jump in the sack!”

Daughter handled it well, stopped texting with him. Did take her several days to come to us about it, but we have addressed that issue. Apparently, he's doing this with another girl at the school as well. One good to come out of this was my daughter got a realization that there are some sick people out there and maybe mom and pop actually know a thing or two about the real world. Also, don’t these kids know that this digital stuff doesn’t go away?

So, SOBW and I decided to bring this up with the little cretin’s mom at the next school session. I won’t be there, but think SO will be able to handle it, especially when she shows her the texts. I suspect if he’s doing it with other girls, word is going to get out and he will be gone from the program pretty soon. Program director has kicked kids out for significantly less.
