Had my current Chevy Volt for less than a year

Tires are low rolling resistance -read thinner- and I found a large piece of metal in the rear passenger side tire at two months ownership. Tire could not be repaired. Then last week I found a small screw in the same location. This one can be fixed, but two punctures in 10 months? I'll be looking for better tires.
