The price seems good especially for Apple but it would depend on what your

Dad does with the iPad. I have an iPad Air, not the newer iPad Air 2 & it does everything I want it to do still. It has all the apps I want. It is plenty fast surfing the internet & no problems watching YouTube or Netflix. The new iPad has a better camera but I don't care about a camera on an iPad. Now the iPad Pro offers some interesting upgrades but I don't think that is the $329 model.
