I've sold 1 house and 1 tract of land by FSBO.

I think they just want to know they're getting their cut. They also will do a bit more of the paperwork.

If you know a few agents, they'll likely be the ones that will work with you more than a stranger.

The purchaser of land I sold was through an agent, but she was repping her parents.
