You know what bothered me about that scene?


Bron saving ol' goldenhand as he charged the dragon. There is no lazier way for a director to butcher what was otherwise an decent scene than having an "off-screne" savior push a central character out of harms way at the last second.

It's lazy for two reasons: 1) both the Lannister AND the dragon would have seen Bron charging in to save him... and adjusted their actions accordingly, and 2) the result of which would still have lead to Lannister-kabob.

Just set up the scene where the horse gets cut out from under him, or he gets nuked. Something realistic for Pete's Dragon. Not that claptrap they used.
