A potential downside to playing in Marlins Stadium is

the month of September and maybe October could be played on a field where part of it is dirt instead of grass. I am not sure if that increases the likelihood of injury or how the players would feel about it. I could be wrong, but I don't think the Raiders or Chargers players were fond of playing some of their games on dirt.

Also, the Hurricanes would have to adjust their home schedule to fit around the Marlins' home schedule which may include last minute schedule changes (thinking MLB postseason).
