So it's time for my annual Hokie flag purchase to fly high and proud under the stars and stripes on my dock. I got to looking and noticed there's a growing trend of flags that have the team's logo in the middle of the stars of the US flag. Often the stripes on the flag are changed to reflect the team's colors as well.

I thought, well this is interesting. Then I thought it'd look weird with the US flag on top and then the "Hokie Nation" flag flying beneath. Lastly I thought "I wonder how others would feel about it in general?"

So I called a few of my friends from my military days, shared the link to the flag and asked if they'd fly it. One was a "hell yeah man, that's awesome" while the other was "Dude, that's awful. Please don't buy that. The US Flag is sacred."

So, I ask you, oh lizards of the lounge, without going UWS, what are your feelings?
