Lowes used to have a product that was easy to install and affordable


3-4 ft length of vinyl to cover the gutter. Slides up under the bottom shingle and locks over the edge of the gutter. Lay them in side-by-side to cover the entire course.

Allows water to curl around the cover and fall into the gutter while leaves flow over the bridge. Occasionally, a strong wind will pry them up or squirrels will eat them.

Not sure if Lowes still sells them.
