Exactly how scared of snakes are the people you want to torment?

When I was a kid, a friend of mine's family had a house at SML. Their property had a small floating dock maybe 50 yards off shore. Great waypoint for swimming, but the birds tended to s... all over it.

His uncle went to every toy and hobby store in the area and bought a bunch of rubber snakes. He put different ones on the dock until he found one that kept the birds away. So for several years after that, there was always a rubber snake nailed down to the floating dock.

Anyway, that left a small box full of rubber snakes left that the kids tended to play with. One time, my older sister came up to the lake for the day...and I knew she didn't really like snakes. I thought it would be funny to take one of the rubber snakes and wrap it around the gas pedal of her car.

Turns out I grossly underestimated how much my sister hates snakes. I was looking for a quick scare and a laugh. What I got was 45 minutes of hysterics. Oops.
