I always liked the B-58 "Hustler". Had a couple of models of it as a kid.

Not as iconic as such as the B-52 or P-51, but I remember the only time I ever saw one. Once when I was a kid and my family was driving toward Wytheville VA from Bluefield (this was before the East River Mountain and Big Walker Mountain tunnels were constructed). We were crossing over Big Walker Mountain, after having crossed over East River and Little Walker mountains. I remember that at the top of Big Walker mountain they had a restaurant and, notably, what looked like a large steel fire tower. We stopped to get some hamburgers&fries and after getting out of the car I heard a jet sound in the distance. So I walked over toward the sound, looking to the valley, and there flying below me (yes, looking down below me) in the valley was a B-58 Hustler. I called it out to my Dad and he couldn't believe either. I've never forgotten that sight.
