The mast developed a problem soon after they


started that limited their sailing speed to 4-5 knots.

One of them was supposedly an experienced sailor who bought a years worth of food because of something she read online. Weird...

Like you, I don’t understand why nobody was looking for them. Why didn’t they have scheduled check in times with family or friends?

Also, why didn’t they radio for help?
