Anyone have FIOS Gigabit internet?

I had FIOS that was supposed to be 50 Megabit up and down, but I was only seeing about 10 Mb down on my laptop. So I upgraded last month to FIOS gigabit which in theory is supposed to be up to 940 Mb. I am seeing about 100 Mb down and about 140 up. I know the network cards and other hardware limits actual speeds, but that still seems like a pretty big hit.
