It's multiple people across the pond in the UK who do this. Not to be a xenophobe, there are a few here in the US that do it as well but there's definitely a different culture over there where people's time seemingly isn't respected as much. Us yanks already have a "bull in the china shop" persona attached and I don't make much of an effort to detract from that stereotype so this would just further the "Scott's a dick" narrative.
