Dad....two pieces of advice,


1. Don't push VT. Surefire way your daughter picks JMU.

2. As you tour VT, randomly ask kids on campus (in the presence of your daughter of course) if they like VT. If your experience is similar to ours, virtually every kid will say "I love it", eyes get big, etc. We did that on every campus we visited when our daughter was looking and VT had the best and most positive reactions out of 7-8 campuses all over the country. There is a reason why VT is rated as having the happiest students.

And yes, our daughter is a proud Hokie today.
