Oh man...there is a neighbor that has come through the woods to chat


and he has told me about the complicated titles around there. It is a nightmare. One of the abandoned houses was built by a guy on land he didn't own. Precipitated a lawsuit and judge made him leave the house. I got the land from a bank and had title search done...... hopeful I actually own it!! I DO get a tax bill every year but it is minimal. Within eyesight of my property there are 3 abandoned and collapsing homes and three abandoned house trailers back in the woods. I Have found a couple sand point wells I plan to put a pump on for a water source!
