This brings back nightmares of my first Thanksgiving in DC


Had just started my job and thus had no leave to go home so a co-worker invited me to join their family.

Dinner was awful but I graciously thanked them throughout for including me in their Thanksgiving.

At the end of the meal, the hosts announced their big surprise....the meal was prepared using the Jenny Craig diet plan. "You couldn't tell could you?", they asked.

I humored them and agreed but yes I could definitely tell the difference.
