I don't think property values hold up. Speaking with a friend in mortgage


the guy is a senior director of one of the major banks in residential mortgage. He said that their companies analysis is that you have 7 years of equity growth built into today's prices (i.e. over priced by over 20%). They see a correction again "within 5 years" and that was 1 year ago he told me. He advised me to "keep my powder dry" so that I can buy the dip.

Interesting from the lending side ... take it with a grain of salt though.
