(first two gigabytes at 4g, 2g thereafter) Keep the same phone you have, use the same Verizon network. Pay month to month, no commitment, auto-refill.

Going to the ATT/Verizon store doesn't make any sense today unless you're one of those people who always has to have the newest phone.
