Don't be a teacher if you can't figure out how to be equal and fair to all students. If you are so afraid to meet one on one with a female student, don't meet one on one with a male student, although doing that (not meeting alone with anyone) would seem to be extreme. Tom Turkey is exactly right when he says boys point fingers too.

I believe that the majority of males are good, caring men who would never want to take advantage of or abuse a woman or man. The same thing about woman - majority are good people. But if you are so afraid to do your job because of the chance of a false accusation (man or woman), then maybe you shouldn't be a teacher, or work in ANY other field where you might have to be alone with the opposite sex. Pretty simple actually.

By the way, false accusations are said to be very low, somewhere in the range of 2%-8% if you read what has been published about it.
