To put it into today's technology example...


You pay for a certain number of minutes on your cell phone every month. If you go over, you pay extra. If you make long distance calls on your home phone, you pay a per-minute charge. (Think most home phone plans include unlimited local calling.)

So this is pretty close to your gas or electric example.

Appears "cord cutters" don't want to pay for cable, but do want unlimited streaming. Shouldn't they be kicking a little more cash back? Think of it as income taxes. You earn (use) more, you should pay more, right?
