As mentioned below, stretching seems to help most.


I've found that if, right after I lie down in bed at night, I point my toes as far toward my knees as possible and hold that stretch for a while, my PF is better in the morning. When I remember to stretch throughout the day on a regular basis, my PF issues go away completely.

I'm dealing with a persistent bout now that I think may be partially related to a new pair of work safety shoes, but tight hamstrings/calves are definitely my main issue. In fact, I think my occasional neck and back issues can all be linked to loss of flexibility and extremely tight hamstrings. I really need a daily stretching regimen.
