Very true that teammate v teammate results ...


... don't always translate to how either guy would do versus competition from other schools. Teammates see each other all the time; they know each other's strengths and weaknesses much better than anyone from another school would; and they also may wrestle differently because of friendships.

I'm sure there are examples out there of teammate "A" beating teammate "B" again and again, yet B does better against outside competition. It does may it tough on the coaches (and teammate A) to pick the starter.
