The key is to avoid sweating. Sometimes you wear things that seem


counter intuitive. What works for normal outdoor activities is not always the right thing for cycling. Heavy socks can sometimes do more harm than good. I would say use either heavy socks with toe covers or shoe covers. Both and your feet will sweat and then they will get cold.

Invest in a good pair of cycling tights to wear over your cycling shorts or bibs. Craft make a really good line of gloves. The lobster claw versions are awesome.
