I remember coming home from school that December Friday afternoon, it was


a terrible thing to watch on the news. I remember a few weeks earlier watching WCHS-8 Charleston interviewing the couple that was chased by Mothman while they were in their car. According to the author (John Keel) of the book "Mothman Prophecies", the creepy man-in-black going around Point Pleasant at the time went into city hall and asked "where's Welsh?" I'm from the Welch WV area and wondered it he ever made it.
