So after yesterday's bird fest, just got a good look at a Redtail Hawk....


Driving up 15 north of Frederick this morning and this Redtail hawk glides across the highway and lands in the center strip. Thought it might be hitting something, but unless there was some roadkill there it just glided to a landing. big red tail too, 'bout 1/3 of a plate sizej which it fanned out.

Just sort of weirdly coincidental with the thread yesterday and I haven't seen one in a long while. Just think about them and they show up.
