Mine of the same kit has
been in secondary for four weeks - giving it one or two more. Used Jim Beam for soaking the chips as well. Also added about 4 cups of brewed chocolate coffee to secondary - after I let it cool to room temperature. ABV at transfer to secondary was 9.4% - hoping to get 10% at final.
Will be at wit's end during carbonation as I don't keg. Can't wait to taste - based on every review I've read there have been no complaints.
