I got an LED dusk to dawn bulb from Home Depot. But

it failed. It would come on at dusk ok, but then it wouldn't turn off in the AM. It was also more of a blue light, then soft white. I then just went for a 100W LED soft white, and replaced the light switch with a timer switch. The timer works OK, but I'll have to adjust the time occasionally thru the year (which I have to do already for some indoor lights. The 100W bulb may be a little bright though. Doing it again, I may go a little dimmer. And by 100W, I mean 100W equivalent. Also, this was a porch light, not over the garage door.
