If you're 86-ing kickers, then I guess all offensive possessions after a


score or to begin a half start at the 25? My only issue with that is the rare occasion a kickoff gets returned for a score. Those usually cause a big swing in momentum.

What about punts? I suppose you'd have to keep punting in the game. Ball control/field position is still an effective philosophy for keeping an opponent's offense in check, especially if you have a decent defense.

I don't really have an issue with the coin toss. They only do it once per regulation game and once more should you go to overtime. What I have a huge issue with is the NFL's stupid overtime rules. College OT is so vastly superior, it's not even funny. I wish the NFL would adopt the college OT rules, except maybe start the offense out around the 35 or 40 instead of the 25. Make 'em at least gain a few yards before they're in FG range.

In your scenario, there would be no FGs, so starting OT at the 25 would probably work. I like your hoop idea.... brings Quidditch into football. LOL Let's have three hoops, just like Quidditch. The big hoop in the middle is good for 1 point and the two smaller hoops on either side will get you 1 point.
