Agree, though it does seem to be life-affirming for some


I liked it well enough. Didn't think it was awesome. Then I had lunch yesterday with a friend who is African-American, and he was so energized by the almost all black cast, and the setting, and the music, and most of all the story focused on those who have much helping those who have little - it meant a lot more to him for sure. It was really amazing to see. Almost made me emotional, he was so happy and proud to see it with his teen son. He has a context and perspective I don't have, and it made BP much more meaningful for him.
