Because that's exactly my point. Overall they are good people - in this case the impression they give is that they would rather change how they feel about a movie and be on the right side - and any others having a dissenting opinion are on the wrong side and have an motive for it.

We all ought to be able to disagree on some things and still be friends - without feeling because you believe "that" on one issue you must be evil and I can't be your friend. Of course there are some deal breakers - but whether you liked a movie or not?
