Jeez, kinda learned that in elementary school

Be best friends forever, then something changes you suddenly become boring or somethingand I've probably done that to a few people too.

My roommate (and friend)'s gf shows up buck naked in my room late at VT. I do the honorable thing even though I recognize the slow moving breakup. She gets married to someone else later that summer (I even came back to Blacksburg after graduating for that) Never see him again. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Loyalty and beau geste and $2.00 will buy you a cup of coffee.

Take care of yourself, especially if you thought he owed you something. Never get in a situation where your friends always pay you back "later". Things change and change again. Hard lesson to learn.

On the other side of things, a girl from high school likes me now and wants to do Floydfest next July, a little burned out on it now but maybe what the heck. I sure wished she talked to me more back then when she was hot. very strange.
