Ehh...think about all the anti-war and social justice stuff in season 1

George, the Ringbanger, whatever the one about getting the "wrong blood" was called...

I think what happened is there was so much change in the cast in a very short time...they just sort of lost some people. I think Charles, Potter, and BJ were all more "serious" characters than their predecessors, but the tenor of the show didn't change much...IMO...
