When it's not basketball season, I watch the double reruns on MeTV


every night.

Ive seen every episode so many times, that I recite the lines before they are spoken.

Like many here, I think that the last 3-4 seasons were much weaker overall. I think that Blake and Potter were both strong characters in different ways. I really liked Potter.

Back in my college daze, we'd always looked forward to Freedman episodes as well as black and white episodes, Rufus episodes among others. Alda did become too preachy toward the end. One of the preachy episodes that I absolutely love, however, is when Hawkeye goes to the peace talks and addresses the buffoons...completely implausible, but that's exactly what so many were feeling at the time in the wake of Vietnam.

One piece of M*A*S*H trivia: The Excutive Story Editor for the last few seasons was Karen Hall, who was born and raised from Chatham, VA.
