I'd say worst is if fire doesn't kill you immediately...


I feel worst for the folks that hang on for a few days with 70+ percent burns to the body. I had a coworker that got burned in a heptane fire back in the 90s. He took burns to around 15% on back/shoulders/arms. He was in the hospital for almost a month and had compression sleeves for over 2 years and still to this day has very limited mobility in his arms. Burns are nasty nasty things when they start taking up large portions of the body.
