2016 Honda Odyssey towing capacity


Sounds like there are towing upgrades available for Odysseys:


With 248 horsepower and 250 lb-ft torque, it’s safe to say the 2016 Honda Odyssey’s V6 engine delivers an abundance of power. The vehicle’s robust powertrain paired with its six-speed automatic transmission and carefully constructed body allow for a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.

In order to tow equipment at the maximum weight, the Odyssey requires surge-type or electric trailer brakes in addition to Honda’s towing package accessory and hitch ball. Honda also recommends fueling the Odyssey with premium unleaded fuel when towing large pieces of equipment.
