Good advice. Hampton was a crapshoot, but many have been updated, also


consider traveling with your own pillow. Hotel pillows often suck. And if you like to work out, ask at the front desk if your hotel has a relationship with a local gym. Hotel gyms also often suck, but sometimes staying at your hotel will get you in to a Gold's or American Family Fitness or similar for free, or reduced rate.
