Fair play is one of the new tiebreakers added to the World Cup


Both Japan and Senegal have 4 points with a record of 1-1-1. Both teams also have a GD of 0 since both teams lost today 1-0. I don't remember the exact order of FIFA's tiebreaker procedure, but I knew fair play was in there somewhere. If Japan and Senegal ended up with the same number of yellow cards, then FIFA would have moved on to the next tiebreaker criteria (whatever that may be).
