real intro into an online community style FPS game and then going through the many iterations of Call of Duty... the building mechanic in Fortnite, which is apparently the most important skill for the game, is taking a lot to get used to so I still find myself doing more stealth/stalking than is good for the game.

Learning to land is definitely a high priority, then in game improvement/development takes one of two approaches... either fly into the high activity areas to get better at shooting - or - land far away from the bus on the outskirts and hope to build up your arsenal and last later into the round.

I got the battle pass "for my kids" when season 4 came out and the weekly challenges have helped me get into it. some are about getting kills with certain weapons, etc.. but more are scavenger hunt type challenges that require you to explore the map a bit.
