You should consider switching to index funds anyway b/c of the expenses.


You probably know this already but here goes anyway....

None of those funds that underwent a 10-1 split have an expense ratio under 0.69%. Fidelity's index funds have a zero or near zero (0.015%) expense ratio. The Contrafund's (I'm guessing that's what you have) expense ratio is 0.74%. It would have to outperform the market by at least that much every year just for you to come out ahead which is no small feat.
