We have friends who live in St. Germain en Laye where the American school

is located. The town is an upper middle class town and quite attractive. One of our friend's four daughters went to the American School (they are native French, not transplants) and subsequently went to one of France's best business schools and grad school. It is highly rated. The town itself is the last stop on the RER out of Paris so getting in and out of the city on the fantastic Metro system is a breeze.
