I understand the financial aspect of conference with 10 members

wanting to have a CCG. However, if that conference is already playing a round robin conference schedule, like what the SWAC has been doing for years prior to the change in the rules, then I would think it defeats the purpose of a CCG. Going into the season everyone knows the CCG will be a guaranteed rematch. Whereas conferences with divisions don't start out the season with that guarantee.
