This is my go-to. Used to make them every Sunday


but I've been cutting back on bread, so only once a month or so now.

Best recipe I've tried. Be sure to use butter, not margarine. I use unbleached flour. For the love all that is good in the world, don't use lowfat buttermilk. And for a touch of extra kick, instead of 7 tbsp of butter, I use 4 tbsp butter (half a stick) and 3 tbsp chilled bacon grease. Yum!

Be sure to watch the video. There is a technique to folding the dough so the biscuits come out flaky.
