I’ve never had one burn out, but I put them in the correct places.


Meaning, no dimmer switches(unless rated for them), not a light frequently turned on and off. It’s possible you have an old switch or bad connection too, which might cause arcing that will damage bulbs(basically like turning the light on and off very quickly). LEDs (and basically all bulbs in standard wiring) work exclusive of each other, so mixing wattages won’t hurt.

Quality matters in these bulbs too, so don’t buy el-cheapos.
