Are the bulbs in a globe? LEDs don't do well if there is no way to


dissipate heat. While incandescent and CFL bulbs can handle (and put off) a lot of heat, LEDs don't. However, if you have a light fixture with no vent, overtime they'll heat it up and start to destroy their insides.

You'll see some LED bulbs now labeled as "not for use in enclosure" and some for.
