Just occurred to me that 77 years ago today, Pearl Harbor was attacked

My Dad was 21 that day and fortunately stationed on a ship on the West Coast. But he would spend the next 3 years in the Pacific during World War II.

2,043 were lost that day.

Still can't imagine being that age, and the only worry I would have would be staying alive and getting through a war. They were the greatest generation....
