Even our zone offense made NO sense. Double high posts??? That allowed Syracuse to extend all the way up to FT and 3 pt line. There was literally NO player inside 12 feet when Syracuse was on D. It may be fine to start that way but SOMEONE has to go low to make the defense move and stretch the zone out. ALL 10 players on the court were between FT line extended and the top of the key extended which meant Syracuse could challenge all our 3 pt shots. We had something going with Regan and Emery playing a 2 person game and screening part of the zone but then we stopped screening one side of the zone

Against the press, we continued to dribble up the side into traps OVER AND OVER. You need a guard handling it then a bigger guard to flash from mid court to the MIDDLE of the floor. We kept going up sideline often just crossing midcourt and picking up dribble exactly where they could trap us. It was the worst I’ve seen a college team look in trying to run a press break
