Tech’s only home-and-home with a SEC school was LSU

since Tech joined both the Big East and ACC (and that LSU home-and-home was over a decade ago). UVa can probably say the same with Auburn’s home-and-home in the mid-90s (correct me if I’m wrong).

But looking back to the past 25 years, the only home-and-homes Tech has had versus P5 have been UVa (6 h-&-hs when we were in separate conferences), LSU, aTm, UNL, OSU and technically Purdue (although our home half hasn’t happened since we played them in 2015). Looking forward, the Big Ten seems much more willing to schedule home-and-homes with Tech with PSU, Wisconsin, UMCP and Rutgers coming up. Michigan backed out our scheduled series.

I know travel is always a concern, but I’d love to see more Big XII and PAC matchups in the future. Although the PAC seems to beat the ACC more often for some reason.
